Dis/Connect, a group exhibition at 1853 Studios Mill 2 Gallery (curated by Air Gallery) bringing together the work of three emerging artists: Kelan Andrews, Nicky Nadine, and Qianjie Nie.

Dis/Connect explored the instability of self and the longing for connection in a time shaped by illness, technology, and emotional fragmentation. Across painting, sculpture, video, and installation, each artist responded to themes of bodily dissonance, digital intimacy, and the quiet griefs of contemporary life.

The works reflected on how we navigate closeness and distance—within our bodies, our relationships, and the world around us. Dis/Connect invited viewers to pause in the in-between spaces: where presence is uncertain, intimacy is refracted, and connection is never quite complete.
